Choosing and Sizing Commercial Displays
Display size follows the distance to the farthest viewer and the type of content. For detailed content such as spreadsheets and drawings, the image height should be at least one-sixth of the viewing distance; for general presentation, one-eighth. Medium rooms and up usually benefit from dual displays so remote participants and content are both full size. Commercial displays are specified for brightness, duty cycle, orientation, connectivity and warranty terms that consumer televisions do not carry.

Mounting, Cabling and Configuration
Mounts are selected for the display weight and the wall construction, with backing added where drywall alone is insufficient. Cabling is concealed and plenum-rated where it runs above ceilings; power and data are located behind the display. Displays are configured for the room — input naming, power management, network connection and integration with the conferencing device, signage player or control system — and documented as installed.

What size display do we need for our conference room?
It depends on room depth and content. As a guide, a 12-foot viewing distance points to roughly 75 inches for detailed content. We calculate size for each room during the assessment.
Do you install displays we purchased ourselves?
Yes, provided they are suitable for the application. We recommend commercial-grade displays for reliability and warranty reasons.
Can displays be installed in a glass-walled room?
Yes. Mounting is engineered for the available solid wall or a freestanding structure, with cabling routed appropriately.
