Hybrid Meeting Room Technology in New York
A hybrid meeting room is judged by the people who are not in it. We design rooms where remote participants see faces, hear every seat and share content on equal terms with the people at the table.

What Makes a Meeting Room Genuinely Hybrid
Most rooms built before 2020 were designed for people in the room, with a camera as an afterthought. A hybrid room is designed from the remote seat backward: can they see who is speaking at a readable size? Can they hear the person at the far end of the table without straining? Can they see the whiteboard? Can they share content without asking someone in the room to do it? Every one of these is decided by camera placement, microphone coverage, display layout and platform configuration.
- Cameras at eye level with auto-framing and speaker tracking
- Microphone coverage for every seat — ceiling arrays in larger rooms
- DSP for echo cancellation and level management
- Dual displays so the remote gallery and content are both full size
- Content cameras or capture for whiteboards where needed
- Native platform rooms so remote and in-room experiences match
Room shape determines the technology.
Hybrid Room Layouts and Technology
In a small room a video bar at the display handles framing and audio. Medium rooms add a ceiling microphone array and a dedicated camera so the framing stays natural as the table lengthens. Large rooms and training spaces use two or more cameras — a front camera for the audience and a rear camera for the presenter — with voice lift so people at the back hear questions from the front. Platform features such as intelligent front-row layouts are enabled where the display geometry supports them.
Frequently Asked Questions
What technology does a hybrid meeting room need?
A camera that frames the group and follows speakers, microphones that cover every seat, DSP for clean audio, one or two displays sized for the room, a native Teams, Zoom or Webex room system and a simple controller. Larger rooms add ceiling microphone arrays, multiple cameras and voice lift.
Can we make our existing rooms hybrid-ready?
Usually yes. Existing displays and cabling often stay; the camera, microphones, compute and control are upgraded. We assess each room and recommend what to keep.
